I'm a Midwestern transplant to Northern CA. I've also lived in New Orleans, Savannah, and Central PA. I'm still attempting to figure out my path in this life; in the meantime, I have a small glass business with my husband, who is a glassblower.

Greetings all!

I currently live in Dallas, TX where I work in software sales. I really dislike my job, but it pays very well and I have some debt to pay off from a video game store I opened up with a friend. I had the store for a little over a year and it was one of the most exciting years of my life. It was in Houston, TX (where I am from originally) and right after I started the business my wife got her dream job in Dallas. We did the 4 hour trip back and forth each week for a few days for about the entire time I had the store. Finally, got fed up and sold the store (lost a ton of money) and moved to Dallas.

I went to school at Texas A&M (studied History and minored in Film Studies), lived in Boston for a few years after school and never would have imagined that I would be in the spot in life I am at right now. Life is a trip.

I have been studying BJJ for the past year, love to fish, golf, workout at least 6 days a week and try to fit a few books in each month. I started with JRE (really woke me up), DTFH, Hardcore History, and The Drunken Taoist.

That was a bit long winded. Glad to be on the forum. Enjoy learning more about everyone else.

-Nick

Man you guys are super interesting.
Best thing about these podcast's is finding out about people in fields of work you would never normally get to associate with are into the same things.

I hope that map gets made soon so we can see where everyone is.
