Kemics Yeah, I can see that makes more sense. I guess I just got the wrong idea from ‘Is there room for push hands martial arts in a world where people are also drilling power doubles’….

There's bad striking, ‘black belts’ who look like people having seizures and even a bit of ninjitsu! Love this stuff! |

BennyB The ‘black belts’ looked like children pretending to do martial arts! How could anyone take that seriously?! These is my personal favourite fake-techniques, found after listening to the latest Joe Rogan podcast with Sam Harris (Sam links these on his Youtube): http://youtu.be/U5xeNePF-cg http://youtu.be/sYW4yeBxMKA

Concerning which martial art is the “best” I say listen again to what Arthur Rosenfeld says on the podcast at around the 17 minute mark. You could also say that the elephant in the room of all martial arts discussions is that anyone with a gun can defeat any and all martial arts. If you want to kick some ass MMA may indeed be the way to go. Arthur Rosenfeld doesn't seem interested in kicking anyone’s ass. |
