Watched the new Maniac remake recently and really enjoyed it…have my review up on bloodygoodhorror.com

http://www.bloodygoodhorror.com/bgh/reviews/03/29/2013/maniac-remake

Saw some other movies at the horror festival also:

Manborg 7/10

The Sightseers 7/10

I saw somebody mentioned “Being John Malkovitch” and man I really love that movie… Would give it a 10/10 myself smile

Mr. Nice 7.5/10

Howard Marks is a fascinating individual and this film is thoroughly entertaining. Get some Nepalese hash down you and enjoy the story of how an MI6 agent became one of the biggest cannabis smugglers in the world.

PS: I watched Kumaré earlier, great film!

Confessions of a Porn Addict - 8/10

Up there with Grizzly Man, so funny and the story is so perfect you'd think it was orchestrated - it wouldn't surprise me. One of the funniest documentaries of all time.

PS: Apparently this is a mockumentary; still hilarious.

God Bless America

Bobcat Goldthwait wrote and directed this extremely satisfying, sharp witted tale of a dude diagnosed with cancer who goes on a mission to kill the scum of the earth. Not murderer and rapist scum, but scum like Bill O'Rielly, America's Got Talent, noisy neighbors, bad drivers and other true plagues of society.

I give this shit 9/10. Do yourself a favor and watch. If this movie doesn't make you smile, you're probably a terrible human being.

6.5/10 Visually stunning, great history showing how colonization looks the same all over the world, but not much emotional connection to any character

Daniele, I almost watched it when it was out in theaters. Might have to check it out. Just have a hard time with movies with little character development.

Jason, then it may not be for you. The cinematography is amazing, but characters are not developed much

Killing Them Softly - 6.5/10

Nice cinematography, and very well played by both Pitt and Gandolfini. If you like like the classic gangster movies or crime/thriller then this is definitely worth a watch.

PS: I decided 7 was too generous.
