Sowing Straight Into Soil

Planting the seed directly into a small pot of light mix about a centimetre deep skips the transplant shock that paper towel sprouts sometimes suffer. The cost is that you cannot see what is happening, so a dud seed wastes a week of waiting. Success rates for direct sowing compared with towel and cube methods were tracked by a few members on https://kushindicaseeds.com, and the gap was smaller than I expected. For expensive indica packs I still germinate visibly first.
