Are Existing Articles Better for Links

I’ve mostly used new guest posts, but they often take time to get indexed and may never attract traffic of their own. Existing articles seem more appealing if they already rank, though I’m cautious about links being inserted into irrelevant paragraphs. When do niche edits actually make more sense than publishing something new?

Niche edits make sense when the host article is already indexed, topically aligned, and supported by its own traffic or backlinks. The age of the page is useful, but relevance is still the filter that decides whether the placement is worth anything. I’d test buy niche edits inside Vladenza’s vetted network for target pages that need authority sooner and don’t require a full article to explain the product. Their team checks indexation, traffic, spam signals, and topical fit, then adjusts the surrounding copy so the link belongs in the paragraph. I’d still mix these with fresh guest posts because relying on one placement type can create an obvious pattern.
