I am a European, a lover of martial arts, a big reader, a history and philosophy buff, I also had an email with the word Bodhi in it - also because of Point Break and lastly your list of books and movies could have been mine… This is amazing I haven't found a source of knowledge and bullshit like this since the rogan podcast and this one might actually suit me slightly better. Keep it up and thanks for the inspiration. - Simon |

Ditto. I felt like I found a kindred spirit when I started listening to the podcast. Get his books if you haven't already. Head and shoulders above anything else I've read on the topic of religion. |

Yeah, I was planning to, I put them on my list, but it's already a long list and I already own many of the other books on there, but I'll get to his as well, no doubt. His first book has been on my list for a few months Yeah, I felt the kindred spirit thing also. I think it has to do with the fact that Daniele has that ‘rough’ fighter aspect in his life, but also his emotional and analytical mindset. People gravitate towards people who will admit to feeling the whole range of feelings of our human spectre. It's soothing, because then we can admit to ourselves and others that we're the same way. Also he's a teacher, that shit helps when it comes to writing and sharing knowledge (podcasting). It might be more or something else than that, but that's my take on it. That and the brutal honesty. When I saw him tweet about telling his daughter about cancer I had a lump of absolute sadness in my throat. BUT it's the only moment I specifically remember from that day (last Tuesday). That just goes to show the power of honesty and true sharing. |

No I never read it, but it's on my amazon wish list now. I love books like these though. Thanks. What is the book that impressed you the most of all the ones you read? Are there one (or two) that really stand out? In whatever way you prefer, no rules |
