What’s a good photo editor for product shots?

I’m putting together a small online catalog for some handmade home decor, and the photos need a bit of work before they go up. Nothing crazy, mostly cleaning up backgrounds, fixing lighting, cropping, resizing, and occasionally removing something that ended up in the frame. I don’t really want to install some huge editing package just for that, but I also need more control than the basic phone apps give me. What editor or tool would you guys use for this?

A lot of quick editors are fine until you need to fix one awkward corner or make several photos look like they actually belong in the same catalog. That’s usually where the one-click stuff starts feeling pretty limited. Photopea is worth checking out because it runs in the browser and gives you layers, masks, selections, retouching tools, and plenty of the controls you’d expect from a desktop editor. You can get quite a lot done there without installing anything.

Once you start polishing a whole batch, having proper editing tools in the browser is a lot nicer than bouncing between little apps for every separate task. It also helps when one photo needs a quick crop and the next one needs actual retouching or work with layers. You can use Photoshop web editor here: https://fotoo.pics/en/edit_photo . It gives you a fuller editor right in the browser, so you can handle both simple corrections and more detailed changes in the same place. That should work well for getting the whole catalog into a consistent shape before you upload it.
