Confusion Catholicism

So let me say, my ex has recently declared that she is Catholic. Now a little history, she was into gay marriage and she was pro choice. Very much an open minded person when we were together. Well we have had some major issues in the past that I don't really need to get into. Let's just say that she doesn't want to talk to me anymore. Now I really don't care if if she wants to speak with me or not, my main concern is that she was a great person and I don't want to see her fall into any flaws that Catholicism brings. And by that I mean hating gay marriage, being pro life, the use of condoms for example. I truly believe that these beliefs of the catholic religion are flawed and no matter what our relationship was/is it does not matter as much as I would like her being the best person she can be, because she was an amazing human being while we were together. So I guess my question is should I confront her about this issue or should I just say fuck it and let her be. I am in the belief of, that life is trying to become the best human that you can be and I see too many flaws in Catholicism for that to happen. To answer some questions , yes I love this girl with all my heart, whether we are together or not. I just don't want to see her turn her back on being a best human being that she can be.

You can't save everyone;
Goethe In happy ignorance, I sighed for a world I did not know, where I hoped to find every pleasure and enjoyment which my heart could desire; and now, on my return from that wide world… how many disappointed hopes and unsuccessful plans have I brought back! I don't mean to be facetious, my own mother is a Catholic (although a relatively liberal and sane one). Sometimes, as much as you might wish to change someone to fit within your world view, we all have sovereignty of our belief system; as long as they don't infringe on other peoples liberty then who cares.
The marginal gain from saving one person from the clutches of that cult is minimal.

Dear Lord, MAN! She doesn't want to talk to you anymore, and you're thinking of confronting her on a deeply devise issue like religion!
Put down the binoculars, step out of the bushes, and walk away, run away.

dhizzo, Well I was pretty damn hammered when I wrote that, and since then we started to talk again, as friends. But damn even reading what I typed is embarrassing. I would say no more posting while drunk, ha, like that is going to happen!

You should give her some filthy raw dog, now that she's Catholic. That's what Hizzo would do.
